Average Rainfall of 1095.3 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur, 20 September 2024/According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room of Chhattisgarh Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 1095.3 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2024 till today morning i.e. on September 20, Bijapur district has had the highest average rainfall of 2283.6 mm and Bemetara district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 570.3 mm.

As per the information received from the state level flood control room, from June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 589.3 mm was recorded in Surguja district, 1082.9 mm in Surajpur, 1624.0 mm in Balrampur, 936.3 mm in Jashpur, 1065.8 mm in Koriya, 1054.4 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. Similarly, average rainfall of 912.5 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 1133.2 mm in Baloda Bazar, 1024.2 mm in Gariaband, 863.0 mm in Mahasamund, 979.4 mm in Dhamtari, 945.0 mm in Bilaspur, 1050.3 mm in Mungeli, 988.9 mm in Raigarh, 630.4 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 1145.7 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 967.6 mm in Sakti, 1332.4 mm in Korba, 1134.9 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 629.2 mm in Durg. From June 1 to present, an average rainfall of 853.7 mm has been recorded in Kabirdham district, 1077.4 mm in Rajnandgaon, 1195.7 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, 816.8 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 1131.0 mm in Balod, 1225.0 mm in Bastar, 1116.2 mm in Kondagaon, 1360.4 mm in Kanker, 1337.2 mm in Narayanpur, 1465.9 mm in Dantewada and 1623.0 mm in Sukma district.
