Bilaspur 14th September 2024:Government of India’s “Swachhta Hi Seva” Abhiyan 2024 was launched in SECL today on 14th September with the administering of Swachhta pledge.
On this occasion, under Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan 2024, Director Technical (Operations) Mr. SN Kapri, Director Technical (Project & Planning) Mr. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Personnel) Mr. Biranchi Das, Chief Vigilance Officer Mr. Himanshu Jain, General Manager (Civil/CSR/Welfare) Mr. Alok Kumar, in the presence of various department heads, officers-employees, trade union representatives, administered the “Swachhta Pledge” to all the present and also called upon the employees to maintain cleanliness at their workplace.
The theme for Swachhta Hi Seva 2024 is “Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskar Swachhata”, seeks to reignite the spirit of collective action and citizen participation in cleanliness efforts across India, underpinned by three key pillars emphasizing a ‘whole of society’ approach:
• Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) — Shramdaan Activities: Focused on time-bound transformation of specific target units and overall cleanliness.
• Swachhata Mein Jan Bhagidari — Public Participation, Awareness & Advocacy: Engaging citizens in cleanliness efforts through various participatory activities.
• Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivirs: Providing preventive health check-ups and social security coverage for sanitation workers.
Following the same, as per the instructions of the Government of India under the campaign, many programs will be organized in SECL under Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan 2024 running from 14 September to 2 October and Special Campaign 4.0 running from 2 October to 31 October.
