Electricity department is working tirelessly to ensure uninterrupted power supply even in remote areas of the Jashpur district

Electricity department has replaced 578 transformers and installed 124 new ones in Jashpur district

Raipur, 3 September 2024. In consonance with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s vision, development projects across various districts are being systematically executed according to a well-planned blueprint. The state government is working tirelessly to resolve issues that impact the daily lives of the common people. The state government has established Chief Minister’s Office Camp in Bagiya village, where public grievances are promptly addressed. Over the past nine months, the Electricity Department has replaced 578 transformers and installed 124 new ones in Jashpur district. Additionally, the department is continuously working on laying new lines, cables, and grip changes.

The Electricity Department is working tirelessly around the clock to ensure an uninterrupted power supply, even in the district’s most remote areas. The department promptly responds to public applications, ensuring swift resolution. Despite challenges such as rain, storms, or trees falling on power lines, the department consistently provides a 24/7 power supply.

Electricity department is addressing issues related to electrification work and other in villages across the district’s development blocks. Based on electricity load capacity, 578 transformers have been replaced, including 42 in Bagicha, 45 in Duldula, 50 in Jashpur, 106 in Kunkuri, 29 in Manora, 42 in Sanna, 144 in Pathalgaon, 55 in Kansabel, and 65 in Pharsabahar. Furthermore, 124 new transformers have been installed across the district’s eight development blocks, comprising 16 transformers of 100 kVA, 77 of 63 kVA, and 31 of 25 kVA capacity.

Despite Jashpur district being an elephant corridor area, the department continues its efforts to ensure uninterrupted power supply in remote regions. Both rural and urban residents have expressed satisfaction with the initiative and gratitude to the Chief Minister and the administration for their efforts.
