Now rice, salt, sugar and essential facilities will be available every month
Raipur, 1 September 2024 . In order to integrate PVTG communities with mainstream development PM Janman Camp is being organized daily to benefit the special backward tribal families in the state from various schemes. In its compliance, seven PVTG Kamar members received instant ration cards in a PM Janman Camp organized in Bamhni village, which is dependent on Gram Panchayat Maroda under Janpad Panchayat Gariaband on Saturday.
The seven Kamar tribe members, who received ration cards included Chamru Kamar, Kamala Bai Kamar, Savitri Kamar, Brij Bai, Asabati Kamar, Shyam Bai and Phuleshwari Kamar. The new ration card will enable the family to receive food grains including rice, sugar and salt at concessional rates every month. Additionally, the seven families will get access these food items from the nearby government fair price shop. All the members expressed happiness on promptly receiving ration cards and express gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai government.
The Health Department also conducted a health check-up in the camp under which they diagnosed blood pressure, sugar level and other relevant tests of 45 Kamar families in the camp and provided free-of-cost medicines to them as per requirement. One beneficiary Janabai Kamar was provided Ayushman card in the camp while Ragi millet was distributed to Kamlesh Kamar by the Agriculture Department. Bhuvaneshwar Kamar and Mahendra received their Aadhar card and Kisan Credit Cards respectively on the spot. Apart from this, officers and employees visited Kamar colony and updated villagers with detailed information about the benefits of various schemes of the Central and State Government.
The officials present in the PM Janman Camp were Mr Amjad Jafri, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Gariaband, Mr Rakesh Sahu, Development Extension Officer, Mr Durgesh Prasad Sahu Regional Coordinator, Sarpanch and Panch and villagers were present in the camp.
