Average Rainfall of 330.3 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur, 20 July 2024/ According to information compiled by the state-level control room of State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 330.3 mm from 1 June 2024 to date. The data collected from 1 June 2024 to the morning of 20 July 2024 indicates that Bijapur district has received the highest average rainfall at 730.0 mm, while Surguja district has recorded the lowest at 138.2 mm.

The state-level flood control room has reported the following average rainfall data for various districts from 1 June to date: Surajpur has recorded 204.3 mm, Balrampur 341.1 mm, Jashpur 241.3 mm, Koriya 249.5 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 205.9 mm, Raipur 268.2 mm, Balodabazar 309.4 mm, Gariaband 382.6 mm, Mahasamund 237.3 mm, Dhamtari 342.7 mm, Bilaspur 345.4 mm, Mungeli 331.4 mm, Raigarh 332.4 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 205.3 mm, Janjgir-Champa district 329.7 mm, Sakti 276.7 mm, Korba 396.2 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 343.2 mm, Durg 206.4 mm, Kabirdham 263.0 mm, Rajnandgaon 335.0 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 385.7 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 224.1 mm, Balod 357.3 mm, and Bemetara 185.0 mm. Additionally, Bastar has recorded 498.6 mm, Kondagaon 378.9 mm, Kanker 397.5 mm, Narayanpur 436.5 mm, Dantewada 419.4 mm, and Sukma 603.2 mm.
