Students Should Set Goals Without Limiting Themselves – Arun Sao

Deputy Chief Minister Attends Shri Sadguru Prakatya Mahotsav and Foundation Day of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University

Raipur, 5 July 2024/ Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao attended ‘Shri Sadguru Prakatya Mahotsav’ and the Foundation Day ceremony of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University organized in Dhanoli, Raipur today. At the event, Shri Arun Sao honoured university professors for their exemplary work and awarded the students who have won medals at the Indo-Nepal Youth Games.

Addressing the students and faculty members on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao highlighted that Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University has carved out a unique identity for itself in Chhattisgarh and India over the past seven years. The university not only offers educational and employment-oriented courses but also inculcates values and spirituality in the students. He mentioned that students from abroad are also coming all the way to Chhattisgarh to study in this university. Shri Sao emphasized that since ancient times, India has been a major contributor to the world in the fields such as medicine, science, the Vedas, and spirituality. He highlighted the broad-mindedness of Indian culture, which embraces the concept of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, considering the whole world as one family.

Shri Sao also said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the nation has advanced towards becoming a global leader over the past ten years, laying the foundation for a stronger India. Addressing the students, Shri Sao advised them not to limit themselves by setting rigid goals. He encouraged them to work with dedication and integrity in their respective fields, assuring them that they would reach the pinnacle of success. He cited the example of former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to inspire the students, emphasizing that with hard work and perseverance, they too could achieve greatness.

The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor S.K. Singh, also addressed the gathering. Pro-Chancellor Shri Harsh Vardhan delivered the welcome speech, and Registrar Dr. Saurabh Kumar Sharma presented the university’s annual report. The ceremony was attended by all the deans, numerous professors, and a large number of students.
