Raipur,15 March 2024/ Chhattisgarh Government has extended the deadline to renew the ration cards until April 30, 2024. This decision was made so that everyone who is eligible can renew their cards without any rush. In accordance with the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Food and civil supplies Minister issued directives to extend the deadline for online renewal application until April 13, 2024
Director of Food and Civil Supplies Shri Jitendra Shukla, has issued directives to all district collectors regarding this matter. A new mobile app has been developed by the department for ration card renewal. This app can be downloaded from the Play Store. Citizens can also download the app from the Food Department’s website, http://khadya.cg.nic.in. Ration cardholders can electronically submit renewal applications through this app on their mobile phones. For those without Android phones or where mobile connectivity is unavailable, arrangements are being made to facilitate electronic application submission for ration card renewal at fair price shops.
