Raipur, 20 February 2024 . Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid tribute to Chhattisgarh’s eminent journalist Shri Madhukar Kher on his birth anniversary, February 21. Shri Sai remembered Shri Madhukar and stated that he has left an indelible mark in the field of Hindi-English journalism and literature in Chhattisgarh.
Through his writings, he played a crucial role in raising awareness in society. He was also a founding member of the Vidarbha and Raipur Journalists’ Union. It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh Government honors and commemorates Shri Madhukar Kher by conferring the Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award in the print and electronic media-English.
