Over 46.22 lakh women in the state have filled out applications for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana

Chhattisgarh Government’s initiative towards promoting women empowerment

Raipur 12 February 2024// A large number of applications are being filled under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana launched by the Chhattisgarh Government to promote women empowerment. So far, 46 lakh 22 thousand 926 applications have been received in the state.

As per the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, eligible women are being encouraged to fill out applications and avail the benefits of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. There is a lot of enthusiasm among women to submit their applications, and a large number of women are gathering at the camps set up in all the districts. Women state that with the Rs 1,000 they receive every month from the Chhattisgarh Government, they will be able to meet their small day-to-day needs and lead a respectable life. The beneficiaries will receive Rs 12,000 annually under the scheme.
