Raipur 18 January 2024// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep grief and paid tribute to the Head Constable Shri Arvind Ekka, who lost his life in the line of duty. Chief Minister extended condolences to the grieving family members.
Shri Ekka, a dedicated DRG jawan, sustained injuries on December 29 during a Naxalite blast in the village of Kawadgaon Hilori in the Gangalur police station area of Bijapur. He was admitted to Narayana Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Chief Minister stated that Shri Ekka has made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting his motherland. The entire nation and our state are indebted to him, and we honour his supreme sacrifice. Our determination to fight against Naxalites will remain strong.
