MP Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel carried out the bhumipoojan of various development works, including roads, bridges, and buildings.

MP Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel dedicated 264 development works worth Rs. 266.40 crore to the Balodabazar-Bhatapara district at the Krishak Sah Shramik Sammelan organised in Sumabhatha village of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. These development works will include the inauguration of 150 projects worth Rs. 176 crore and bhumipoojan for 114 development works worth Rs. 90.35 crore.
The inaugurated development works include the construction of 41 roads worth Rs.12.63 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the construction of 14 buildings and roads worth Rs. 96.58 crore under the Public Works Department, 34 development works including the construction of school building, dispensaries and other worth Rs. 9.97 crore under the Rural Engineering Service Department of Balodabazar Division, 5 development works worth Rs. 2 crore under the Health Department, the construction of 15 Godown and office building worth Rs. 3.83 crore under the Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mahasamund, 1 development works worth Rs. 8.91 crore under the PWD (Bridge) Raipur, the construction of a bridge over the Ranidham canal in the Amakhoha-Bhavridi road. Similarly, the inaugurated development works include 5 development works under the Janpad Panchayat Balodabazar, 1 development work under the Janpand Panchayat Bhatapara, 3 development works under the Janpad Panchayat Kasdol, 17 development works under the Janpad Panchayat Palari, and 3 development works under the Janpad Panchayat Simga, all worth Rs. 5.65 crore, the construction of Krishna Kunj, and work related to the Narva Development Program worth Rs. 36.45 crore under the Balodabazar Forest Division.
In the program, the bhumipoojan was carried out for the construction of 14 roads worth Rs.7.67 crore under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the construction of 13 roads worth Rs. 15.90 crore, the 21 construction work worth Rs. 31.34 crore related to buildings and roads under the Public Works Department, 19 development works worth Rs. 5.37 crore under the Rural Engineering Service Department, 5 development works related to Jal Jeevan Mission worth Rs. 7.64 crore under the PHE Department, 2 development works for canal lining and renovation worth Rs. 5.31 crore under the Water Resources Department, 4 development works worth Rs.1.1 crore under the Health Department, the construction work of 8 building under the Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mahasamund. Similarly, the bhumipoojan was carried out for 3 development works under the Janpad Panchayat Balodabazar, 12 development works under the Janpand Panchayat Bhatapara, 1 development work under the Janpad Panchayat Kasdol, 3 development works under the Janpad Panchayat Palari, and 1 development work under the Janpad Panchayat Simga, all worth Rs. 3.53 crore, 4 development works worth Rs. 1.2 crore under the Municipal Council Balodabazar, and 4 development works worth Rs. 2.1 crore under the Municipal Council Bhatapara.
