Cabinet Meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office. Following important decisions were taken in the meeting:-
# In the Kharif marketing year 2023-24, the policy for procurement and custom milling of paddy and maize at support price was finalized. Under this policy, paddy and maize will be procured at the support price declared by the Government of India. Kharif paddy will be purchased from farmers in cash and linking at support price from November 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024. Similarly, Kharif maize will be procured from November 1, 2023 to February 28, 2024.
As per the announcement of the Chief Minister, maximum of 20 quintals of paddy per acre and 10 quintals of maize per acre will be procured from farmers, linking including.
# Cabinet has decided to extend the validity of government guarantee (amount of Rs 14 thousand 700 crore) to Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited for paddy procurement by one year till 31 October 2024 for the Kharif marketing year 2023-24.
#Consent has been given to supply Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK) through (NAFED) Indian National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation for the fortification of the rice obtained from custom milling of paddy procured in the Kharif marketing year 2023-24.
# In compliance with the announcement made by the Chief Minister, Cabinet has decided to provide 15 percent discount to the journalists on the purchase of houses in City Development Scheme No. 4 Kaushalya Mata Vihar. As per its first stage estimate, Rs 6 crore 37 lakh 20 thousand 450 has been sanctioned to Raipur Development Authority for the rebate to be provided to 309 journalists.
# Regarding the approved layout of the real estate project New Swagat Vihar in village Dunda, Sejbahar and Boriyakala, tehsil and district Raipur and about providing plots to the affected people, Cabinet has decided that the previously approved 8 layouts should be cancelled. Considering New Swagat Vihar Colony as an unauthorized colony, action for regularization should be taken. Under Kaushalya Mata Vihar Nagar Vikas Yojana, Cabinet has decided to denotify some of the builder’s lands to separate them from the scheme so that plots can be provided to the affected people.
# Regarding determination of the allocation rate and the process of land allotment of the proposed wholesale commercial market or commercial hub project in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Cabinet has decided that in compliance with the announcement of Chief Minister, businessmen will be provided land plots at the rate of Rs 540 per square foot instead of Rs 945. The total amount of loss so caused to Nava Raipur Authority i.e. Rs 117.86 crore will be reimbursed by the state government.
# Cabinet has decided to relax the minimum qualifying service period of 5 years for promotion from the post of Scientific Officer (Physics Gazetted, Second Class) to Senior Scientific Officer (Physics Gazetted First Class) under State Forensic Science Laboratory, Raipur by four months.
# Cabinet has decided to create 03 posts of Additional Director in Pay Matrix Level-15 (Pay Scale 118500-214100) in Public Relations Department.
# Cabinet has decided to allot the land of Rajgami Estate for Widener Memorial School.
# Decision taken to provide concession in allotment and management of government land to Ratneshwar Kurmi Kshatriya Seva Sansthan, Ratanpur.
# Cabinet has decided to provide concession in the land allotted to the applicant organization president, Chhattisgarh Halba Tribal Society, Bhilai-Durg.
# Cabinet has decided to provide concession in allotment of government land to Gond community district-Surguja.
# Cabinet has decided to provide concession in allotment of government land to Rajwar Samaj Surajpur.
# Cabinet has decided to allot land to Dilliwar Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj for construction of a community building.
# Cabinet has decided to allot land to Tehsil Sahu Sangh Churia, District Rajnandgaon for the construction of a social building.
#Cabinet has decided to provide concession in allotment of government land to Hardiya Sahu Samaj Raipur and Sahu Samaj Durg.
# Cabinet has decided to provide land ownership rights to the occupants of Manendragarh urban area before the year 1959.
# The draft of amendment in Revenue Book Circular Volume 6 Number 4 was approved.
# Cabinet has decided to provide relaxation in the prescribed criteria for making Gram Panchayat Ghumka, District Rajnandgaon a Nagar Panchayat.
# Cabinet has decided to provide relaxation in the prescribed criteria for making Gram Panchayat Portha, District Sakti a Nagar Panchayat.
# Decision has been taken to appoint Mr. Sudeep Thakur as Director (Contractual) of Chhattisgarh State Hindi Granth Academy.
# Cabinet has decided to provide 100 percent grant to Shri Rameshwar Gahira Guru Prachya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya Shri Kot, District-Balrampur-Ramanujganj under the provision of Chhattisgarh Non-Government Colleges and Institutions (Establishment and Regulation) Act 2006.
