Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for more than 50 school buildings, seven development works under the Narva Development Program, and an integrated tap water supply system for 47 villages

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel dedicated 137 development works to the Sukma district worth Rs 273.28 crore at the Aam Sabha organised in Chhindgarh on Sunday. These development works include the bhumipoojan of 118 development works worth Rs 254.10 crore and the inauguration of 19 development works worth Rs 19.18 crore. He distributed Ayushman cards, employment appointment letters, cheques to various beneficiaries, and departmental kits to a total of 257 beneficiaries under various public welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, carried out the bhumipoojan of various development works, which include the construction of 12 high-level bridges and widening-rejuvenation work on National Highway 30 at a cost of Rs 81.08 crore, the construction of the integrated tap water supply system worth Rs 53.38 crore for 47 villages of Sukma, Konta, and Chhindgarh development blocks under the Jal Jeevan Mission, and the construction of a structure for water conservation under the Water Conservation Scheme worth Rs. 3 crore. He also carried out the bhumipoojan for the development works of various departments, which include the construction of a hostel, a library, a school building, an additional building, and a POTA cabin of the Education Department; the construction of roads, bridges, CC roads, water supply systems, and minor bridges of  the Public Works Department; the construction of 3 ashram buildings for the Primitive Caste of the Scheduled Caste Development Department; the upgradation of the Sub Health Centre of the Health and Family Welfare Department; and the construction of 23 primary school buildings. Apart from this, he also carried out bhumipoojan for a sports complex in Sukma worth Rs 23.70 crore, additional rooms in college and school, the construction of 2 high-level bridges, the construction of a 50-bed critical care block in the district hospital of Sukma worth Rs 13.96 crore, the construction of 3 health centre buildings, the construction of 2 roads and four CC roads worth Rs 4.22 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, and the construction of CC roads and bridges at a cost of Rs 4.83 crore under the Tribal Welfare Department and Panchayat and Rural Development Department.

The Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated various development works which included the school building and maintenance work carried out by the District Construction Committee at a cost of Rs 9.47 crore, a shed, an additional building in the district hospital, a minor bridge, repair work of POTA cabin and school building at a cost of Rs 1.74 crore, burn ward constructed in the district hospital at a cost of Rs 34.74 lakh, construction work of additional room in Sub Health Center in Sukma, the integrated tap water supply system for 9 villages and 2 retrofitting water supply system constructed at a cost of Rs 2.65 crore, construction of 9 fair price shops at a cost of Rs 2.65 crore, construction of 14 Anganwadi buildings and renovation work of Musaria Mata Temple at a cost of Rs 30 lakh.
