Chief Minister expresses his best wishes of Halashashthi

Raipur, 4 September 2023/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the state, especially all the mothers, on the occasion of Halashashthi (Kamarchhat). He has said that Halashashthi is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna’s elder brother, Balram ji. In Chhattisgarh, this festival is known by the name of Kamarchhath. On this day, Sagri is made in the form of a pond in homes and temples. Women gather and offer Pashar rice, Kashi flowers, Mahua leaves, and Lai, while praying to Lord Shiva and Sagri. On this day, women observe a fast and pray for the health, long life, and prosperity of their children. The Chief Minister has wished that the prayers of all the mothers are answered and that all the children remain healthy and happy.
