Mahasamund : Public Relations Department’s photo exhibition showcases state government’s achievements and schemes

Visitors heap praise on Chhattisgarh Government’s Welfare Schemes at the exhibition

Mahasamund 29 August 2023// A three-day long photo exhibition organized by the Public Relations Department of the Chhattisgarh Government was set up near the main roundabout of Tumgaon, located near the flyover of Mahasamund district headquarters. This exhibition, which started on August 26, showcased the achievements of the state government and its welfare schemes over the past 4.5 years through LED displays and ‘Kala Jathas’ (art troupes).

People who visited the photo exhibition praised the work done under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel by the Chhattisgarh Government, terming it as commendable, trustworthy, and appreciable. The general public can understand the ongoing schemes through the large LED display, which presents the information in a simple manner.

This photo exhibition organized by the Public Relations Department not only highlighted the ambitious plans of the state government but also conveyed the works done for women empowerment in simple words. The younger generation also expressed their appreciation, stating that the exhibition effectively showcased the power of youth. Schoolchildren and citizens also heaped praise on this exhibition. Those who came to see the photo exhibition appreciated the informative aspect along with the presentation of statistics.

Dinesh, a resident of Tumgaon, and his friends who visited the exhibition found the information about the state government’s Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor NYAY Yojana, which provides an annual financial assistance of Rs 7000 to landless agricultural labourers, quite interesting. The financial assistance scheme for the state’s poor labourers is praiseworthy, they said.

The unemployment allowance and the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana, initiated by the Chief Minister, received a lot of praise from the youth Toran and Rahul from Mahasamund. Understanding the plans through the ongoing soft stories on the big LED screen is quite simple. People have gained knowledge about the schemes being implemented for educated unemployed youth and also about the labour welfare plans of the government. The exhibition has undoubtedly provided a lot of information to many unemployed youth, and it is hoped that they will benefit from these government schemes.

Despite being eligible for the government’s welfare schemes, many people are unable to avail the benefits. Through this LED screen, people will have access to comprehensive information about the government’s schemes. The exhibition set up at the district headquarters has received a positive response. Promotional materials including pamphlets and brochures were also distributed free of cost.
