Raipur : Food assistance rate for students increased in tribal hostels, Rs 87 lakh approved

Raipur, August 25, 2023 . The Chhattisgarh government has increased the student food subsidy rate in the hostels run by the Department of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The finance department has sanctioned Rs. 87 lakh for the smooth operation of the scheme. It is worth mentioning that the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, has given instructions regarding the proper arrangements for the students living in the hostels. Accordingly, it was decided to increase the student food assistance rate for proper food arrangements and to give an additional amount for the successful implementation of the scheme.
