Janjgir Champa, 13 August 2023/ With the Leader of Opposition Rajya Sabha Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge as the Chief Guest and presided over by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Bharose ka Sammelan program was organized at Police Line Khokhra of District Headquarters on Sunday. On this occasion, an exhibition and stall were set up by the district administration, which became the center of attraction for the people. In this exhibition, the public welfare schemes run by the state government were displayed in an attractive and elegant manner. Appreciating these efforts, the citizens said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, there have been many changes in the lives of the common people during the last five years. The standard of living of the people has improved due to the schemes being run by the government, and people are benefiting from them. The Chief Minister has won the hearts of the public through these schemes.
Today, in the Bharose Ka Sammelan, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel launched a total of 1043 development works worth Rs. 467 crore 32 lakh 92 thousand for the residents of the district. These include the inauguration of 192 development works worth more than Rs 87 crore 24 lakh 21 thousand and Bhumi Pujan of 851 development works worth more than Rs 379 crore 78 lakh 71 thousand.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. TS Singh Deo, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Agriculture and Biotechnology Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhediya, PHE Minister Mr. Guru Rudra Kumar, Urban Administration Minister Mr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya, Excise Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, Revenue Minister Mr. Jai Singh Agarwal, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Higher Education, Sports, and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, and Korba MP Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant were present during the Bharose ka Sammelan.
