Governor Mr. Harichandan stresses the officials for the effective implementation of Central Government schemes

Governor Mr. Biswabhusan Harichandan convened a meeting of Central Government department heads at Raj Bhavan on July 26 to review their respective activities. Emphasising the need to ensure that the benefits of Central Government schemes reach the common people, he urged for their effective implementation. The Governor encouraged officers to actively engage with the public, disseminating information about the Central Government schemes and attentively addressing their concerns. Governor Mr. Harichandan highlighted the collective responsibility of the government’s executive in serving the nation with loyalty, dedication, and patriotism. He called upon all attendees to work diligently for the betterment of the motherland.
Governor Mr. Harichandan lauded Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s inclusive vision of “Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas” and the launch of numerous schemes benefiting farmers, women, children, youth, labourers, and entrepreneurs. He emphasised the need for extensive publicity through All India Radio, Doordarshan, and PIB to create awareness about these schemes. The Governor also urged dedicated efforts to ensure the effective implementation of the Central Government’s flagship initiatives. In a special presentation, the Head of the Postal Department presented a collection of “My Stamps” featuring the Governor’s portrait, commemorating his contributions and achievements.
Secretary to the Governor Mr. Amrit Khalkho, Additional DGP of Border Security Force Mr. Anurag Garg, and 38 department heads from various Central Government offices were present.
