Major announcements of Rs 2000 crore made by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel during the supplementary budget

 4 percent increase in the dearness allowance of about 5 lakh government employees, Total increase of 42 per cent on the basic salary, state government will bear an additional expense of Rs.800 crore due to the increase of 4 percent.
 27 percent increase in the salary of 37000 contractual workers, this will cost the state government an additional expenditure of Rs 350 crore.

Monthly increase of Rs 4000 in the salary of daily wage earners, this will cost the state government an additional expenditure of Rs 240 crore.

 Increase in the salary of 1650 guest teachers by Rs 2 thousand per month, due to which the state government will have to spend an additional amount of Rs 4 crore.

 Monthly resource allowance of Rs.500 announced for 6000 patwaris, this will cost the state government an additional expenditure of Rs.4 crore.

 All government employees will be given house rent allowance as follows- 9 percent for B class cities and 6 percent for C and other cities on the 7th pay scale. For this, the state government will bear an expense of additional Rs 265 crore.

 All the police constables will be provided an annual allowance of Rs 8000. The state government will have to spend an additional Rs 40 crore for implementing this announcement.

 Mitanin trainer, block coordinator and help desk operator will be given daily incentive allowance of Rs 100 per day. This will cost the state government an additional expenditure of Rs 11 crore.

 Ten thousand Panchayat Secretaries will be provided Rs 2500 to 3000 monthly. State government will have to bear an additional cost of Rs 50 crore for implementation of this announcement. Apart from this, they will be given the benefit of earned leave, ex-gratia amount up to Rs 10 lakh and reimbursement of medical expenses up to Rs 5 lakh.

 The state government will spend a total amount of 1764 crore rupees to implement the aforementioned announcements for government employees.

 Under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme(Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayta Yojana), the maximum amount of aid has been increased from Rs.20 lakh to Rs.25 lakh.

 The families in need were facing difficulty in getting the houses sanctioned, as the eligibility for Prime Minister Rural Housing was being determined by on the basis of the survey list of the Socio-Economic Survey 2011. To solve this problem, Grameen Aawas NYAY Yojana will be started from the resources of the state. For this, a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made in the budget.
