Team of doctors visited Smt. Teejan Bai’s residence following Chief Minister’s urgent intervention
Raipur 14 July 2023// Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel took notice of the ailing health condition of the renowned Pandavani artist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Smt. Teejan Bai Ji, as the news spreads across social media platforms. Taking immediate action, the Chief Minister directed a team of doctors to promptly visit Smt. Teejan Bai Ji’s residence in Ganiyari village, located in the Durg district.
Durg Chief Health and Medical Officer Dr JP Meshram stated that BMO Patan Dr Ashish Sharma acted swiftly and instructed the medical team accordingly. Soon after receiving the information, Dr Bhuvneshwar Kathotia and nursing staff Shri Gulshan Khalkho reached Smt. Teejan Bai Ji’s residence and conducted a thorough health examination. Dr Kathotia conducted a comprehensive health check-up, gathered information about her ongoing treatment and medications, and provided suitable advice.
Considering her family’s request, Smt. Teejan Bai Ji will continue to receive healthcare at home for the time being. She is undergoing treatment for several pre-existing conditions including coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke with residual paralysis, and other ailments. She is diligently following the prescribed medications as advised by her consulting physician.
