Raipur, 9 June 2023 / On the occasion of World Environment Day, public representatives and citizens spread the message of environment conservation by planting trees on the premises of Swami Atmanand English Medium School and Swami Atmanand Hindi Medium School in Mahasamund, Bagbahara, Pithora, Basna, and Saraipali under the Mahasamund forest division.
The doctors and staff members of Mahasamund Medical College also planted trees on the college campus. Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vinod Sevanlal Chandrakar and Mr. Dwarikadheesh Yadav, Basna MLA Mr. Devendra Bahadur Singh, MLA Mr. Kismat Lal Nand, President of Mahasamund Municipality Mrs. Rashi Tribhuvan Mahilang, President of Bharat Scout Guide Mahasamund Unit Mr. Daulal Chandrakar, Vice President of Farmer Welfare Council Mr. Mahendra Chandrakar, President of Bagbahara Municipality Mr. Hira Setram Baghel, Superintendent of Police Mr. Dharmendra Singh Chhavai, Forest Officer Mr. Pankaj Rajput, and other public representatives and school teachers planted trees in their respective areas during the tree-plantation program organized on World Environment Day.
