Under the observance of Swacchata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) a Walkathon was organized on 28th May 2023 inside Maitree Magar township of NTPC LARA under guidance of Shri Akhilesh Singh, GM (Operation & Maintenance). Large number of employees and associates, office bearers of Prerita Mahila Samiti and children of the ongoing Girl Empowerment Mission participated in this walkathon. At the end of the walkathon, a mass cleaning activity was done by the participants.
It is to mention that Swacchata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) is being celebrated at NTPC LARA station of power major NTPC Limited. From 16 – 30 May 2023 various cleaning activities are being organised inside the plant and township. Besides cleaning activity, awareness generating activities are also being undertaken so that the culture of living in a clean environment can be inculcated in the day-to-day activity of every individual.
