CM Bhupesh Baghel visited Thakurdev Temple in Kudmura village of Rampur assembly constituency

Five Baiga joined the Chief Minister to perform customary rituals, the Chief Minister wished for the happiness, peace and prosperity for the people of the state

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, in accordance with his statewide Bhent Mulakat program, visited the Thakurdev Temple, the main deity of tribals in Kudumura village of the Rampur assembly constituency. Five Baiga from the area joined the Chief Minister and performed the customary rituals in devotion to Thakurdev. He offered prayers to Thakurdev, seeking peace, happiness, and prosperity for the residents of the state.

Thakurdev holds a revered position in the temple, while Diharin Dai and Dhanmauli Mata are also enshrined at Devras Sthal. Baiga, who worshipped Thakurdev said that our forefathers have been worshipping Thakurdev at this place for a long time. He said that the tribal people come here to seek Thakurdev’s blessings before any marriage ceremonies or other auspicious events to be held in anyone’s home in the village. In addition to this, worshipping Thakurdev in accordance with rules and regulations aids in the healing of diseases if a person is afflicted with any kind. Baiga Mr. Shalikaram Rathia, Mr. Veersingh Rathia, Mr. Horilal Rathia, Mr. Asharam Rathia and Mr. Sukhram Dhanwar offered prayers with the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at Kudmura village. Assembly Speaker Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Minister-In-charge Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Revenue Minister Mr. Jai Singh Agarwal, Member of Parliament Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant, MLA Mr. Nanki Ram Kanwar and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
