RAIGARH, 12 MAY . To recognise the vital roles that nurses play in the health care system and society NTPC Lara Hospital celebrated International Nurse Day 2023 on 12th May 2023. Shri Diwakar Kaushik, ED (Lara) inaugurated the programme with lamp lighting. Addressing the hospital staff Shri Kaushik emphasised on the role of nurses in the health care system and complemented for the level of service with dedication and care towards a patient.
The contribution of Florence Nightingale, who is the founder of modern nursing was highlighted. On this occasion a cake cutting ceremony was organised by the nurses in the presence of all dignitaries. To honour the nurses, mementos were distributed by Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Latter a plantation drive was organized inside hospital premises where all participants planted a sapling for environment protection.
On this occasion Shri Akhilesh Singh, GM (O&M), Shri Samarendra Roy, GM (Operation), Shri Ravi Shankar, GM (Project), Shri SK Pujari, CMO, Shri Kanheya Das, AGM (HR), doctors and paramedical staff of hospital was present.
