Raipur, 02 May . Anyone willing to put in hard work and perseverance can fulfill their dreams. This statement has been exemplified by the youth of Chhattisgarh who hail from societies that don’t even dare to dream big. Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is continuously working for the interests of workers for the progress of such societies and families. In the last four years, the Chief Minister has launched many schemes for the interests of manual workers in Chhattisgarh. These schemes have proven to be transformative for manual workers and their families, as even their children are now scaling new heights of success. Three talented youth from worker families have broken free from the confines of their slums and are now making a name for themselves on an international level.

Raipur residents, namely, Nikhil Nayak, Beeru Bag, and Kishan Mahanand have left their slum communities to get their talent acknowledged in Canada and Hong Kong. These three have been members of the Indian Softball Team for the last four years and are now displaying their skills on an international level. So far, the three of them have won 7 gold medals while playing for Chhattisgarh.

Just four years ago, the idea of their children doing anything other than manual labor had never crossed the minds of Vinod Nayak, Ghanwar Bag, and Bhagwan Das – proud daily wage workers and fathers of three talented youth who are now making their mark on the world.

But Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had promised unorganized workers that now the children of manual workers won’t be manual workers. He fulfilled his promise and opened doors of economic empowerment for workers by starting schemes for their welfare. Because of these initiatives, three talented youth have made progress with the intention to work on something different and they have left the narrow lanes of Raipur to make Chhattisgarh proud at the national and international level.

Chief Minister has provided an incentive amount of Rs. 50 thousand to each of these promising players under the Utkrisht Khel Protsahan Yojana for making Chhattisgarh proud and has extended his best wishes for their bright future
