Producer women groups earn Rs 39.26 lakhs from the sale of Brahmastra and Jeevamrit
Raipur 20 April . Under the state government’s ambitious ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’, ‘go-mutra’ (cow urine) is also being purchased at a rate of Rs 4 per liter along with cow dung in Gauthans. So far, a total of 1,68,884 liters of ‘go-mutra’ worth Rs 6,75,536 has been purchased in Gauthans, which has enabled women self-help groups to produce and sell 64,986 liters of ‘Brahamastra’ pesticide and 29,773 liters of ‘Jeevamrit’ growth promoter.
This initiative has significantly contributed to promote organic farming in the state. Additionally, farmers in the state have purchased 58,498 liters of ‘Brahamastra’ organic pesticide and 26,240 liters of ‘Jeevamrit’ growth promoter, generating a total income of Rs 39,26,290 for the producer groups.
