Mitan reaching home

The state government has implemented  this ambitious scheme with the goal of offering citizen-oriented services to local citizens at their homes. So that locals do not have to visit municipal corporations, tehsils, and other government offices repeatedly to obtain government services. Mitan Yojana has been launched successfully in 14 municipal corporations across the state, with the first phase of the scheme launching for 13 civic services.

More than 67 thousand people have received government documents for their needs while sitting at home as part of the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana. So far, more than 72,000 citizens have accessed document-related information through the scheme by dialling the toll-free number 14545. The scheme’s goal is to provide 100 government services to citizens through an effective home delivery model. As a result, this system can help daily wage laborers, farmers, women, and common citizens and can save their time, money, and energy. Due to their inability to visit government offices on a regular basis, senior citizens, Divyang, and other physically weaker groups of society have greatly benefited from this scheme.

The Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana benefits unemployed youth in the state by deploying them as Mitan agents who travel to citizens’ houses to collect essential documents and give certificates in order to provide government services at citizens’ doorsteps. This plan creates new job opportunities for young people while also bringing government services to the homes of local citizens.

This scheme is an exemplary initiative by the state government. Under this scheme, citizens can get a birth certificate, death certificate, marriage certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, shop and establishment certificate, Aadhaar card registration (for children up to 5 years), Aadhaar mobile number correction, etc. Citizens can also get important services like the correction of marriage or death certificates.

To take advantage of the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, the applicant must call the toll-free number 14545 to schedule a Mitan service appointment and ask the call centre operator for the necessary certificate.

When you contact Mitan, a Mitan representative advises you that in order to use the services, you must have the necessary documentation and  Rs. 50 as a service charge on hand. Following that, Mitan representatives arrive at the applicant’s home on the specified day and time. After making the certificate, Mitan representatives arrive to take the documents home.
