Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached the North Raipur City Assembly Constituency for his state-wide ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’ held on April 17. He announced the slew of development works worth more than Rs.117 crore 61 lakh for the residents of Raipur city. He inaugurated and performed bhumipoojan of various development works related to employment, road traffic, drinking water, and beautification of the city.  Mr. Baghel also laid the foundation stone for the beautification work of 5 major roads in Raipur city worth Rs.50 crore and 500 seaters BPO center on the fifth floor of collectorate multilevel parking to be built at a cost of Rs.10 crore.


Chief Minister Mr. Baghel performed bhumipoojan of several development works worth Rs.26 lakh in Zone No.7 of Raipur Municipal Corporation, development works worth Rs.85 lakh in Zone No.4, and development works worth Rs.1 crore in Zone No.10 of Raipur. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will also dedicate development works worth Rs. 65.5 crores to the residents of the city.

Mr. Baghel inaugurated the Devendra Nagar high-level reservoir and pipeline expansion work built at a cost of Rs.24 crore 87 lakh, Shankar Nagar high-level reservoir and pipeline expansion work built at a cost of Rs.13 crore 83 lakh, Telibandha High-Level Reservoir and pipeline expansion work built at a cost of Rs.5 crore 30, beautification and redevelopment work of Jethwa Garden in Shankar Nagar and beautification and redevelopment work of Gurughasidas Garden in Devendra Nagar.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated the beautification and redevelopment work of Sahu Para Talab of Fafadih, the beautification and redevelopment work of Maharana Pratap Garden of Shyamnagar, the beautification and redevelopment work of Chaitanya Garden of Devendra Nagar, Siddhivinayak Garden beautification and redevelopment work and Sarbananda Garden beautification and redevelopment. He inaugurated the Kushtha Basti Talab in Pandri redeveloped at a cost of Rs 19 lakh, Bada Sheetla Talab of Khamhardih redeveloped at a cost of Rs.69 lakh.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated and dedicated the redeveloped Shankar Nagar Garden, Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Chowk, Indravati Colony Garden, and Gitanjali Nagar Garden to the residents of the city. Mr. Baghel also inaugurated various development works to be done in zone number 3 of Municipal Corporation Raipur at a cost of Rs.2 crore, in zone number 2 at a cost of Rs. 5 crore 18 lakh, and in zone number 9 at a cost of Rs.3 crore 17 lakh.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated development works worth Rs.5 crore 63 lakh in order to provide better healthcare facilities to the people of Raipur city. He inaugurated a ‘TrueNat’ lab built at a cost of Rs.35 lakh 62 thousand and a 20-bed isolation ward constructed at a cost of Rs.74 lakh 56 thousand in the district hospital. He also integrated a 12-bed ICU and a 30-bed with oxygen supplies constructed at a cost of Rs.65 lakh in the district hospital. He also inaugurated the Transit Hostel built at a cost of Rs.70 lakh in the District Hospital of Kalibari and 20 beds additional ward built at the cost of Rs.32 lakh 28 thousand in the Community Health Center situated at Kho-Kho Para. Mr. Baghel also inaugurated 8 staff quarters built at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 86 lakh in the district hospital premises to provide better housing facilities to the medical personnel.


On this occasion, district in-charge minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, MLA from North Raipur Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur Mr. Aijaz Dhebar, Chairman Mr. Pramod Dubey, Chairman of State Minority Commission Mr. Mahendra Singh Chhabra and a large number of people were present.
