Chief Minister attends ‘108 Pothi Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya’

Raipur, 11 April . Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended ‘108 Pothi Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya Saptah organized at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in the Raipur today and prayed for happiness, peace, and prosperity of the people of the state. He honored respected Bhai Shri Rameshbhai Ojha ji by presenting him a shawl and shreefal. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also listened to the Bhagwat Katha.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Shrimad Bhagwat Katha gives divine bliss along with the teachings of Gyan (knowledge), Bhakti (devotion), and Karma, which are important in beautifying our lives. He thanked Shri Gujarati Samaj for organizing ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya Saptah’ organized in Raipur from April 9 to 15.

He further said that Chhattisgarh is blessed with many places of historical, religious, and cultural importance, and they all have very distinctive features of Chhattisgarh’s glorious culture. He also said that ‘Arang’ under the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh is such a place where both Lord Shri Krishna and Shri Ram had visited. Consistent efforts are being made by the state government to save all such rich cultural heritage of the state. Under this effort, the construction of ‘Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit’ is under process to save the cultural heritage belonging to Lord Rama. Every place through which Lord Rama had passed during his exile in the state has been marked and is developing with tourism facilities.

    Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also informed about ‘Krishna Kunj’ being developed in the state. Under this, all the urban bodies have been identified, and trees of religious and cultural importance are being planted to increase the greenery in cities and for a clean fresh environment. On this occasion, the Chairman of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Mr. Aijaz Dhebar, people of Gujarati community, and devotees were present.
