 Virtual inauguration and Bhoomipujan done of 145 different development works worth more than 154 crores

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has announced the establishment of a District Cooperative Central Bank branch at Banskot in Kondagaon district, development of Manjhingarh tourist place as a Biodiversity Park on the lines of Jungle Safari and upgradation of Primary Health Center to Sub Health Center in  Gamhari.  Along with this, announcement of  opening of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School in Banskot and construction of a compound in Sahu Sadan, Banskot.  Apart from this, he also announced the construction of an indoor stadium in Keshkal to encourage the sportspersons of the district.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel virtually participated in the program organized on the occasion of Bhakt Mata Karma Jayanti and Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah at Banskot in Kondagaon district today.  He extended best wishes for Bhakt Mata Karma Jayanti to the people of the area including Sahu Samaj and blessed 101 couples tying the knot under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah yojana.  The Chief Minister also did a virtual inauguration and Bhumi Pujan of 145 different works worth Rs 154 crore in Kondagaon district.

Along with this, in the virtual presence of the Chief Minister, Vidhansabha Deputy Speaker Mr. Santram Netam, Bastar MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Chairman of Handicraft Development Board Mr. Chandan Kashyap, President of District Panchayat, Vice President and other people’s representatives in the presence of traditional, cultural heritage sites like Devguri, Mataguri and  to preserve the land of Ghotul, a total of 436 community forest rights letters were provided to the villagers and the talented youth of Sahu Samaj were felicitated.

Addressing the program, the Chief Minister bowed down to Bhakt Mata Karma. He said that today we all are celebrating the 1007th birth anniversary of Bhakt Mata Karma.  Today, there has been unseasonal rain across the state, which has caused inconvenience, but this rain has not reduced the enthusiasm in any way.  The birth anniversary of Mata Karma ji is being celebrated with full enthusiasm.  The society can never forget his contribution to Mata Karma.  She organised the society on the basis of strength in unity and provided a new direction.

While addressing He also stated that, we have increased the amount of assistance being given from 15 thousand to 25 thousand, and in the current budget provision has been made to increase it to 50 thousand. He congratulated the newlywed couples getting married under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah. The Chief Minister expressed appreciation for the beneficial adjustments made possible by the Suposhan Abhiyan’s successful implementation.The Chief Minister added that the strong economy of Chhattisgarh is currently being discussed throughout the nation and that Sahu Samaj and all other societies have made significant contributions to it. With the resolution of Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh, we embarked on a new journey four years ago. Since then, our government has prioritised working with farmers, labourers, hardworking artisans, and women operating traditional businesses.  


The Chief Minister said that in Kondagaon district itself, a total of 116 crore 34 lakh 72 thousand loans of 29 thousand 939 farmers have been waived off.  Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana is also providing benefits to the farmers of the state as well as the district.  The farmer-friendly government has created a new record of maximum paddy purchase this year by purchasing 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in the state.  Whether it is purchase of small forest produce or production of natural paint or electricity from cow dung, the needy are getting its benefits and their income has increased.


Extending best wishes on the occasion of Mata Karma Jayanti, MP Deepak Baij said that the government has worked for the development of every individual and society.  Bastar is now being recognized in the country and abroad.  Danex cloth, minor forest produce Mahua, tamarind and Millet of Dantewada region are in demand in the country and abroad.  With the increase in the income of the people due to the better implementation of the schemes, the demand for banks has started rising.  The government is renovating Devgudi, Mataguri, Ghotul to preserve the culture of Bastar.  Social buildings are being constructed for all societies in the districts of the division.

Vidhansabha Deputy Speaker Mr. Santram Netam  expressed gratitude to the chief minister for participating virtually in this program organized on the occasion of Karma Jayanti.  The announcement made by the Chief Minister during the meeting for the development of the area is being fulfilled. Establishment of additional paddy purchase centres in the area, gift of social buildings, forest rights and community forest rights were given by the government.  He blessed 101 new couples under the Kanya Vivah Yojana in the program and congratulated the talented youth of Sahu Samaj.  In the programme, Collector Mr. Soni gave information about the development works being done in the district.
