Collector and SP inspect roads connecting Dantewada to Narayanpur

Dantewada 02 March . Roads and bridges are essential components for the development of any area, and in the same way, the construction of roads and bridges is underway in districts to provide strong connectivity. Additionally, the construction, repair, and paving of roads are progressing rapidly to provide better transport facilities to the general public as per the Chief Minister’s vision. The district and police administration are personally inspecting these works at the site and examining the quality of the roads and bridges. In this line, Collector Shri Vinit Nandanwar and Police Superintendent Shri Siddharth Tiwari inspected the Palli Marg under the Geedam development block on Wednesday.

Collector Shri Vinit Nandanwar said that the road construction has significantly reduced the travel time from Dantewada to Narayanpur, which used to take around 250 km earlier. The road construction has reduced the distance to just 55 km now. The construction of the Palli Barasur road in the Dantewada district has been completed, enabling the administration to effortlessly connect with the citizens. Narayanpur district is directly connected to Dantewada now. One can easily reach Narayanpur within one and a half hours. Road construction has provided relief to people as transportation has become more convenient. Furthermore, officials have also inspected the construction of a high-level bridge connecting Chhindnar to Badekarka over the Indravati river. CRPF DIG Shri Vinay Kumar Singh and other officials were also present on this occasion.
