Republic day celebrations at NTPC Lara


NTPC Lara,26 \ With patriotic fervour and zeal, 74th Republic day celebrated at NTPC Lara. Diwakar Kaushik, Executive Director (NTPC Lara) unfurled the national flag and exchanged salute with CISF personnel and addressed the gathering. In his address Shri Kaushik, paid tribute to the writer of the Indian constitution and advised all employees and villagers as a law abiding individual, we should discharge our duty as per fundamental duties which has been clearly mentioned in our constitution. Reiterating NTPC’s commitment for providing affordable power for nation building,

Shri Kaushik described NTPC Lara’s financial 2022-2023 performance, which is in increasing trend. This year Lara station generated 9381.12 million unit electricity with 81.71 percent PLF and stands at sixth position among all NTPC stations. This achievement is very good for a new power station like NTPC Lara.

Employees of the year, BUH meritorious awards and Special appreciation letter by Executive Director in the presence of all General Manager. Besides participants of Medha Pratiyogita were awarded on this occasion. Students of Bal Bhavan, Stepping Stone school and Gurukul school presented various cultural programme on patriotism. NTPC Lara participated in the district level republic day celebrations

with its tableau designed on the theme of CSR-CD activities carried out by NTPC Lara for peripheral development, which was awarded by district administration. In other programme, Shri Akhilesh Singh, GM (Operation & Maintenance) unfurled national flag in side plant and children of Bal Bhavan NTPC Lara and Stepping Stone school also celebrated republic day with flag hoisting.
