Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the reservation bill.
Raipur, 05 December . Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association members met with Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel yesterday at his residential office. They thanked the Chief Minister for passing the bill to provide 27 percent reservation to other backward classes in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, stated that the state’s 27% of reservations for OBCs will serve as a model for the rest of the nation. The choice to reserve will have a significant impact on how other backward-class residents evolve in this area. A significant portion of the socially and economically marginalized population will have a greater chance of progressing. The Chief Minister stated that after gathering the essential information pertaining to residents of other backward classes in the state by forming the Quantifiable Data Commission, we have decided to grant this class a 27 percent reservation.
The development of other underprivileged classes is a priority for the Chhattisgarh government, said Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. The Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Association’s members informed the chief minister that the approval of the Reservation Bill had created a wave of joy in the whole state. The suffering of the Other Backward Classes has finally been understood in this place. The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for the numerous amenities, such as the hostels that the State Government has opened in several locations for students from Other Backward Classes.
On this occasion, Sarvashri Omprakash Sahu, Leelaram, Devaram, Baliram Sinha, Bhagwat Vaishnav, Phoolchand Dewan, Gangaram Baghel, Suresh Patel, Chintaram Sahu, Krishna, Thakur Ram, Loknath Rathore, Harichand Nishad, Ramdutt Kaushik, Mrs. Dhaneshwari, Mrs. Padmavati, Mrs. Revati Vatsal, Mohan Chandravanshi, Bhupendra, Santosh, Dhanaram Sahu were present.
