Chief Minister greets Divyans on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Raipur, 02 December . Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has greeted Divyangs on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities that is celebrated every year on December 3. He wished a bright and happy future for the divyangs saying that they are also a part of mainstream society.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated with an aim to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development. He added that the state government is committed to the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities and is making all possible efforts in this direction. This day can be meaningful only when all people with special abilities can get the same economic and social status as other citizens. To save the future generation from disability, we also need to spread awareness about the importance of good nutrition and health.
