Raigarh, Dec, 11. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is formally inducted into NTPC Talaipalli Coal Mining Project during a ceremony held today. The event was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Nilima Rani Singh, Inspector General, CISF Central Sector, whose presence added significance to the occasion. The ceremony was attended by Shri Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project, Talaipalli, Shri Daya Shankar, DIG, CISF (CZ), Smt. Piyali Sharma, DIG, CISF (CS), along with senior officials from CISF and NTPC Talaipalli.

The program commenced with a Guard of Honour, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag and hoisting of CISF Flag. CISF personnel showcased an impressive mock drill, demonstrating their preparedness and professional excellence.
During the ceremony, it was highlighted that the Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the deployment of 256 CISF personnel to strengthen the security framework of the Talaipalli Mines. Addressing the gathering, Shri Akhilesh Singh, Head of Project, described the induction of CISF as a milestone in the project’s journey towards enhanced security and operational stability.

Chief Guest Smt. Nilima Rani Singh, IG, CISF, assured full commitment of CISF towards ensuring the highest level of security for the project. The Project Head symbolically handed over the “Model Key” to the Chief Guest, marking the beginning of a new era of enhanced security at Talaipalli Coal Mines.
With CISF deployment, the Talaipalli Coal Mining Project will now remain fully protected from any unauthorized access. The ceremony concluded with a formal vote of thanks, followed by the inspection of the CISF Unit by the Chief Guest and senior officials.
