Raigarh, 27 January 2025.On the occasion of 76th Republic Day, the National Flag was hoisted by Executive Director Shri Anil Kumar at NTPC Lara. On this occasion, an inspiring speech was given by Shri Anil Kumar in which he highlighted the special achievements of the Lara Project. On this patriotic occasion, the Central Industrial Security Force, DGR Security and the children of Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul School took part in the parade and exchanged salutes with Anil Kumar. In his address, Shri Anil Kumar said that in this financial year, the Lara Project has generated electricity at 88.33 percent till January 25 and is at the third position in NTPC group. Till the overhauling of Unit 1, Lara station was at the number 1 position and he is hopeful to regain the place by the end of the financial year.
During the program, Ashutosh Satpathy, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), Mr. Ravi Shankar, General Manager (Project), Mr. Zakir Khan, Head of Department (Human Resources), all the Heads of Departments, representatives of Employees Union and Executive Association, officers of SC/ST Association as well as Mrs. Anuradha Sharma, President, Prerita Mahila Samiti, and officers of the Samiti, Deputy Commandant of CISF, Mr. Mahavir Singh employees and their families were present.
To celebrate the Republic Day, children of Bal Bhavan, Stepping Stone School, Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul School and Government School presented dances on patriotic songs and painted everyone in the colors of patriotism. Also, children demonstrated various skills on self-defense on Karate martial art. Meritorious Awards, Power Excel Award, Best Employee of the Year and Manviyata Puraskar presented to employees who had performed remarkably in their respective work areas. Besides, employees of associates like DGR security, ICH, contracting agencies were also rewarded.
On this occasion the National Flag was hoisted at other places also. At service building Ashutosh Satpathy, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance) hoisted the national flag and Smt. Anuradha Sharma, President, Prerita Mahila Samiti unfurled the tricolour at Bal Bhawan.
