New Delhi, 07 Dec.- The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), Government of India, has recommended the name of Harish Dohare as the new Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).
Harish Dohare is currently serving as Director (Technical) of Central Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India. He has over 34 years of rich experience in the mining sector, including implementation of First Mile Connectivity projects, digitization, and development of solar projects.
Harish Dohare holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mining from Nagpur University and has also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management. He started his career with Western Coalfields in 1989 and has also served as Area General Manager of the Nigahi project and General Manager of the Corporate Project Planning Department.
Harish Dohare’s selection as the new CMD of SECL has been welcomed by the top management and employees of the company.
