Raipur 12 June . The National Conference of CAs “Challenging the Challenge “ is Organised by Continuing Professional Education Committee of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), which is the premier Statutory body of CAs in India. The event is hosted by the Bilaspur, Raipur and Bhilai branch of ICAI . The Chief Minister of Chhatisgarh, Mr Bhupesh Baghel ji, in his opening remark asked chartered accountants to invite and encourage investors to invest in Chhattisgarh. A souvenit of the event was released by the CM.
In his welcome address, Chairman of Bilaspur branch, CA Dinesh Agrawal demanded that the audit related works should be done by the Divisional Level (Local CA) so that where the work is done, if the CA does the same, then the time And both money will be saved. The Chief Minister liked this suggestion and assured to work in this direction immediately.
Program Director, CA Sameer Singh laid the outline of the program and apprised the participants to Topic and speakers. In the first technical part of the program, Advocate CA Kapil Goel, from Delhi in his speech gave his views on faceless assessment in Income Tax Act, its importance, process changes with time, possibilities of change in future.
This part was moderated by CA Vinod Mittal and CA Ashish Khetan.
The second part of the program threw light on important topics like input tax credit and recent changes in GST law, Fake bills, penalties and effects from wrong inputs. The second part was Moderated by CA Mahavir Jain and CA Amit Agrawal.
