Raigarh NTPC 28-OCT-2024 – Lara has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on 27th October 2024 with District Administration, Raigarh for providing the financial support to the tune of ₹42.56 Crores for the Construction of Nalanda Library cum Cafeteria and Suspension Bridge (Nalanda Library Campus) at Raigarh, in a public function, in the august presence of Shri O.P. Choudhary, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of Chhattisgarh.
From District Administration, Collector -Raigarh (i/c.) Shri Jitendra Yadav, IAS, Shri Divyang Patel, IPS, Supdt. of Police-Raigarh, Shri Sunil Kumar Chandrawanshi, Commissioner- Nagar Nigam Raigarh and other senior Officials were present, while from NTPC, Executive Director & HOP-Lara Shri Anil Kumar and HoHR Shri Jakir Khan along with other Officials of NTPC- Lara were present.
This big ticket program under the CD initiative of NTPC, by dedicating Raigarh District a library of international Standard, shall benefit around 50 thousand number of youths within Raigarh District, .
The Hon’ble Minister has in his speech acknowledged the Contribution of NTPC- Lara for the overall development of Raigarh and has underscored that the Library will contribute towards development of knowledge based society.
