NTPC Korba Hosts Successful Vendor Meet During Vigilance Awareness Week

Korba,27 October 2024.NTPC Korba conducted a significant Vendor Meet as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, emphasizing the importance of integrity and transparency in business practices. The event occurred on 26.10.2024 and was graced by Shri Rajeev Khanna, Business Unit Head of NTPC Korba, who served as the chief guest.

The program commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment in maintaining ethical business standards. This was followed by a pledge-taking ceremony, where all participants committed to uphold the principles of honesty and vigilance in their respective operations.

Over 50 vendors actively participated in this event, demonstrating their commitment to collaborating with NTPC Korba in a spirit of mutual respect and integrity. The gathering also included esteemed senior officials from NTPC Korba, including Shri Arnab Maitra, General Manager (O&M); Shri Somnath Bhattacharya, General Manager (Maintenance); Shri M.V. Sathe, General Manager (Ash Dyke Management); Shri K.N. Singh, Head of C&M; Shri R.P. Sharma, Head of Vigilance; and Shri Shashi Shekhar, Head of HR, among others.

The event featured a comprehensive presentation highlighting the importance of vigilance in procurement and vendor management. Attendees were engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing awareness and fostering a culture of ethical practices across all levels of operation.

Shri Rajeev Khanna emphasized the role of vendors in NTPC’s success and the critical need for vigilance to ensure that operations are conducted with the highest standards of integrity. “Our vendors are vital partners in our mission, and by working together transparently, we can achieve greater efficiency and accountability,” he stated.
