Korba, October 21, 2024। The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit at KSTPP, Korba, observed Police Commemoration Day in honor of gallant police personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The event was held in front of the Commandant Office and Shahid Smarak.
Chief Guest Mr. Rajeev Khanna, Chief General Manager, NTPC, and special guests Mr. Somnath Battacharya, General Manager (Maintenance), and Mr. M.V. Sathe, General Manager (Ash Dyke), paid tributes to the brave soldiers. The dignitaries acknowledged the unwavering commitment and dedication of CISF personnel in safeguarding the nation’s assets and security.
The event began with a ceremonial “Smriti Parade” by CISF personnel, marked by precision and discipline. Force personnel and dignitaries laid wreaths at the Martyrs’ Memorial, symbolizing the nation’s gratitude.
Mr. Rajeev Khanna expressed deep appreciation for CISF’s dedication to national security and the exemplary organization of the ceremony. He reaffirmed NTPC’s support to enable CISF’s vital role in safeguarding critical installations.
CISF personnel showcased utmost commitment and dedication under the leadership of Unit Commander Shri Rajeev Kulhari, Commandant CISF. Mr. Khanna extended heartfelt gratitude to all CISF personnel and their families, pledging solidarity and support.
