Raipur, 19 October 2024// Paris Olympics 2024 bronze medallist shooter Sushri Manu Bhaker met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his residence on October 19. Welcoming Sushri Bhaker to Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed pride in her remarkable achievement, stating that her success has brought immense honour to the entire nation. Sushri Bhaker is in Chhattisgarh to attend the closing ceremony of the 27th All India Forest Sports Meet, taking place in Raipur.
Sushri Manu Bhaker made history by winning bronze medals in both the 10-meter air pistol event and the 10-meter mixed doubles competition at the Paris Olympics 2024, becoming the first Indian female shooter to achieve this feat.
The AIFSM 2024 in Raipur has drawn around 3,000 athletes from 29 states, 8 union territories, 6 forestry institutions, and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Olympic medallist Sushri Manu Bhaker will attend the closing ceremony as a special guest, boosting the morale of athletes and promoting greater awareness of sports.
