Chief Minister announced the government would offer zero-interest education loans to the youth of Bijapur

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in a ‘Yuva Samvad’ program at the Central Library in Bijapur, where he engaged in ‘direct dialogue’ with the local youth. During the interaction, Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasised the state government’s commitment to provide a supportive environment for talented young individuals with ample opportunities to secure their future. After listening to the concerns raised by the youth, the Chief Minister promptly instructed the Bijapur Collector to address their needs. He also announced that the state government would offer zero-interest education loans to the youth of Bijapur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted the significance of meeting with the youth during Navratri, an auspicious occasion, and reiterated the Chhattisgarh Government’s focus on enhancing education across the state. He shared that the government is establishing new higher education institutions and district-level libraries. He also mentioned the expansion of facilities at Raipur’s Nalanda campus to support students preparing for competitive exams. Additionally, the number of seats at the Tribal Youth Hostel in Delhi, dedicated to UPSC preparation, has increased, with the government covering the costs for students staying in PG accommodations.
Addressing the topics of future prospects, education, and employment, the Chief Minister assured the youth that the state government is consistently working to create better opportunities for them. He encouraged the youth to become self-reliant and informed them about various government schemes designed for their empowerment.
During the program, the young participants engaged with the Chief Minister, asking questions and sharing their personal experiences. The ‘Yuva Samvad’ provided a valuable platform for the district’s youth to voice their concerns directly to the Chief Minister and explore possible solutions.
One of the participants, Rakesh Tati, shared his story of growing up in a Naxal-affected area, where his early education took place in a neighbouring village. He expressed appreciation for the opening of schools and police camps in his village and mentioned that he is currently preparing for the Assistant Professor exam. He added that the new library will greatly aid in his preparation.
Rukhsar Khan praised the establishment of English-medium schools in the district, which has significantly improved the standard of education. She requested the Chief Minister to establish B. Ed. and D. Ed. colleges in the region. Samaya Hasrat thanked the Chief Minister for appointing science professors at the local college, a much-needed resource.
Another participant, Jagpati Kursa from Med village, praised the progress in infrastructure, including roads and electricity, and requested coaching facilities at the Central Library for NEET and JEE preparation. Laxman, a resident of Pujari Kanker, shared that he had to travel to another village for schooling. He is pleased that a new school has now opened in his village, allowing children to receive education within their community. After hearing these accounts, Chief Minister assured the youth that their concerns would be addressed with priority.
