Raipur, 04 October 2024/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai planted a kesar mango sapling in the Circuit House premises as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan’ during his visit to Dantewada today. Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh also planted a mango sapling, while Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap planted a coconut sapling. Besides, Bastar MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap planted an almond sapling, and MLA Shri Chaitram Atami planted a jackfruit sapling.
It is worth mentioning that, in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, ongoing plantation efforts are being carried out under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan’. To date, over 12 lakh saplings have been planted in Dantewada district as part of this initiative.
