Korba – NTPC Korba proudly observed the Swachhata Pakhwada 2024 by taking a collective pledge towards cleanliness and sustainability. The Swachhata Pakhwada is being celebrated from September 16 to October 2, 2024, in alignment with the national initiative to promote cleanliness and hygiene across the country.
The pledge ceremony was administered by GM (O&M), Shri Arnab Maitra, who emphasized the importance of individual and collective responsibility in maintaining a clean environment. The event witnessed the participation of various Heads of Departments (HODs) and employees, all of whom reaffirmed their commitment to cleanliness.
Following the pledge, NTPC Korba organized a walkathon at the township, which brought together NTPC employees and CISF personnel. This initiative aimed to foster community spirit and raise awareness about the significance of cleanliness in our daily lives.
Shri Arnab Maitra encouraged everyone to not only practice cleanliness within the workplace but also to extend these values into their homes and communities. “Our commitment to a cleaner environment starts with us. Together, we can make a significant impact,” he stated.
The Swachhata Pakhwada is a vital campaign encouraging individuals and organizations to actively participate in promoting sanitation and hygiene. NTPC Korba remains dedicated to these principles and will continue to engage in initiatives that contribute to a cleaner and greener future.
