Raipur, 18 September 2024. A pickup vehicle carrying 25 to 30 devotees returning from the Shiva Dham Kailash Cave in Jashpur district overturned after falling into a deep ravine, injuring several passengers. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai directed the district administration to ensure proper medical care for the injured. The district administration has dispatched ambulances along with medical teams to the accident site. The injured have been taken to Bagicha Hospital, with those in serious condition referred to Ambikapur for further treatment.
The accident occurred near Songersa in the Bagicha police station area. Upon receiving news of the accident, local authorities, including the subdivisional officer and police, were sent to the site to assist with rescue operations. Nearby villagers played a crucial role in quickly transporting the injured to the hospital using their vehicles.
