Smt. Rashmita Jha, (IRS), Chief Vigilance Officer (NTPC Limited) inaugurated the three month long preventive vigilance campaign on 3rd September 2024 at NTPC Lara. This year the vigilance department is observing vigilance awareness week 2024 from 28th October to 3rd November 2024. As per the instruction of Central Vigilance Commission, as a prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week, NTPC is observing a three month long preventive vigilance campaign from 16th August to 15th November 2024. During this period various activities like capacity building programmes, Identification and implementation of Systemic Improvement measures, up-dation of circulars/guidelines and manuals, disposal of complaints and reaching out to the public by dynamic digital presence.
During this visit Smt. Jha, reviews Lara station activities. She visited stage-I control room, boiler and stage-II construction site. Smt. Jha also chaired the meeting with site management committee members and lady employees working at NTPC Lara. As a measure of environment protection, Smt Jha planted sapling at administrative building premises under #Plant4Mother initiative.
On this occasion Anil Kumar, Executive Director (NTPC Lara), Shri Ravi Shankar, GM (Project), Shri Pankaj Shekhar, AGM (Vigilance), Shri Jakir Khan, AGM (HR), Shri Manish Kumar Singh, STA to CVO and employees were present.
