Raipur, 03 September 2024// According to data compiled by the State Level Control Room, established by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 928.2 mm since June 1, 2024. Among the districts, Bijapur has received the highest average rainfall of 1950.0 mm, while Bemetara has recorded the lowest at 500.2 mm.
The report from the State Level Flood Control Room indicates that from June 1 until this morning, September 3, Surguja district recorded an average rainfall of 509.4 mm, Surajpur 921.5 mm, Balrampur 1332.7 mm, Jashpur 796.6 mm, Koriya 936.2 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 936.5 mm. Besides, Raipur district reported 747.7 mm, Baloda Bazar 951.3 mm, Gariaband 896.6 mm, Mahasamund 727.5 mm, Dhamtari 802.0 mm, Bilaspur 847.2 mm, Mungeli 957.0 mm, Raigarh 893.5 mm, and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 540.5 mm.
Further, Janjgir-Champa recorded an average rainfall of 1002.7 mm, Sakti 858.2 mm, Korba 1228.4 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 983.9 mm, and Durg 547.5 mm. Kabirdham district received 746.9 mm, Rajnandgaon 890.8 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 993.3 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 653.6 mm, Balod 926.4 mm, Bastar 988.8 mm, Kondagaon 881.4 mm, Kanker 1084.6 mm, Narayanpur 1056.8 mm, Dantewada 1222.4 mm, and Sukma 1317.7 mm.
