Niyad Nellanar Yojana: Narayanpur district’s inaugural camp delivers essential services to remote Mohandi Village

Raipur 31 August 2024// The Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, has launched the ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana’ aimed at enhancing basic facilities and welfare benefits in Maoist-affected areas. As part of this initiative, the Narayanpur district administration recently organized its inaugural camp in the remote village of Mohandi.

The scheme involves establishing 14 new security camps in Maoist-affected regions. Villages within a five-kilometer radius of these camps are benefiting from over 25 basic services and 32 beneficiary-oriented schemes.

In the Orchha Development Block of Narayanpur district, a revenue camp was held in the village Mohandi, part of the Kutul Gram Panchayat. The camp saw significant participation from villagers and facilitated the distribution and application for important documents including caste certificates, residence certificates, income certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, and old-age pension scheme documents. During the camp, 12 caste certificates, 15 residence certificates, 12 income certificates, 16 birth certificates, and applications for 26 Aadhaar cards were processed. In addition, 16 birth certificates, one death certificate, and three old-age pension certificates were issued.

District administration officials and local representatives attended the camp. The ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana’ marks a significant step in fulfilling the Chief Minister’s commitment to extending the benefits of government schemes to individuals in Maoist-affected areas. This initiative is proving to be a milestone in bringing positive change to the lives of residents in remote forest regions.
