Raipur, 15 August 2024. A warm welcome ceremony was held for Governor Shri Ramen Deka at Raj Bhawan on Independence Day. Governor Shri Deka extended his Independence Day greetings to all present. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai presented a bouquet to the Governor. The First Lady of State, Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti, was also present at the event.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankram Verma, MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Padma Shri awardees Shri Madan Singh Chauhan, Smt. Shamsad Begum, Dr. Radheshyam Barle, Sushri Usha Barle, Shri Swami G.C.D Bharati, and Shri Anuj Sharma were present at the ceremony. The ceremony also saw the participation of families of martyrs, police officers honoured with bravery awards, personalities who have excelled in various fields, and Brahmakumari sisters.
